Before We Collect Your Data
We need your driver's license photo and a selfie to verify your identity and legal authorization to drive. Please read the following before proceeding.
What we collect & why:
① Driver's license image — to read your name, licence number, and expiry date
② Selfie photograph — to confirm the person applying matches the DL photo
③ Derived face match score — a numeric confidence value (not your face itself)
We will NEVER:
✗ Sell, rent, or share your biometric data with any third party for commercial purposes
✗ Use your data for advertising or profiling
✗ Keep your images beyond 90 days
Retention: All images and biometric scores are permanently deleted 90 days after verification, or immediately upon account deletion — whichever is sooner.
Your rights: You may request access, correction, or deletion of your identity data at any time by emailing privacy@transit-mesh.net.
